LUCAS Legislative Council Treasurer Legislative and Policy Services The Hon. R.I. LUCAS (Treasurer): The Attorney-General has provided the following advice: 1.	There is a $2.3 million reduction in expenses for this program in 2018-19. This reduction is due to savings of $1.4 million and carryovers into 2017-18 of $0.9 million. The budget savings announced in the 2018-19 budget are outlined in Budget Paper 5. 2.	$254,000 relates to savings allocated to the Attorney-General's Department as part of, or prior to, the 2017-18 Mid-Year Budget Review. 3.
