          <inserted>CBS is also responsible for recording significant life events under the Birth, Deaths and Marriages Act 1996 and related legislation, such as the Justices of the Peace Act 2005, Adoption Act 1988, Sexual Reassignment Act 1988, Partnership Act 1891, Marriage Act 1961 and Burial and Cremation Act 2013.</inserted>

          <inserted>The total number of licences and registrations and the number of applications is reported in the Attorney-General's Department Annual Report.</inserted>

          <inserted>2.&amp;#x9;CBS carries out a diverse range of services, including licencing and registration, dispute resolution and education and awareness campaigns.</inserted>
        </text>
        <text id="2018120460c2190fcb944cf5b0001100">
          <inserted>With respect to dispute resolution, CBS provides a fair trading and tenancy advisory service. </inserted>
        </text>

          <inserted>3.&amp;#x9;CBS education and engagement campaigns in 2017-18 included:</inserted>
