WADE (Minister for Health and Wellbeing) (14:50):</by>  I certainly take the member's point that education, awareness and so forth are very important preventive health measures. The government certainly concurs with that strategy. Of course, they are medium to long-term strategies and the public health response, at this stage, will be particularly in relation to the treatment side of the equation. In terms of the costs, I will make inquiries of my department, and in particular seek an assurance that if resources are needed to escalate the response in relation to recent developments, I am made aware of that.</text>
