        <inserted>That on the prorogation of the present parliament, should the Independent Commissioner Against Corruption present to the President a report on his inquiry into the matters surrounding the Oakden Older Persons Mental Health Service facility and, on the expiration of 28 days thereafter, the report be deemed to be laid upon the table of the Legislative Council, the President is hereby authorised to publish and distribute that report.</inserted>

Nonetheless, this motion should be considered nothing more than a stunt, rather than any genuine attempt to assist South Australians in finding out matters relating to the inquiry. Powers provided to the commissioner in both the ICAC and Ombudsman acts already allow for the public disclosure of a report arising from an investigation if the commissioner believes it will be in the public interest to do so. Nonetheless, the government supports the motion.</text>
