Why was the minister's response to the Parliamentary Committee on Occupational Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation's inquiry into work related mental disorders and suicide prevention, tabled in both houses just today, delayed well beyond the four-month response time required under the Parliamentary Committees Act 1991? Why were responses relating to police and emergency services included in the Deputy Premier's response, and why was it more than four months late? Will the minister indicate why the letter of apology to the committee regarding this delay came just from the Minister for Industrial Relations and not also from the Minister for Police and Emergency Services? Of course, it is regrettable that there was a delay in the production of the government's response, but nevertheless now it has been submitted, and we thank the committee for all their hard work.
