HUNTER (Minister for Sustainability, Environment and Conservation, Minister for Water and the River Murray, Minister for Climate Change): The Minister for Education and Child Development has been advised: Delays in the first quarter's payment for 2017 occurred (as a once off event) because of implementation of new contractual arrangements for 2017-18 in South Australia. I can confirm that the first quarter's payment for 2017 was made directly to service providers on 8 March 2017; and the second quarter's payment for 2017 was made on 11 April 2017. The next quarter's payment is expected to be disbursed in July 2017 as per the table at 4.5.1 of the National School Chaplaincy Program for government schools guideline, which can be accessed from the DECD website.
