MALINAUSKAS (Minister for Police, Minister for Correctional Services, Minister for Emergency Services, Minister for Road Safety) (14:32):</by>  I have received advice from emergency services on more than one occasion, including each of the agencies, around the backup generator arrangements that are in place. I understand also that the Burns review went through a substantial exercise in looking at the issue of backup generators in and around the emergency services sector and also other critical services that the state government is responsible for providing.</text>
        <text id="20170531280e1077c02e419d80000297">With respect to each of those specific locations, I am more than happy to take that question on notice, but to the best of my knowledge each of our emergency services has reviewed and assessed their policies and arrangements in and around backup power generation and believe that the state is well placed to be able to deal with those issues should they arise in the future.</text>
