Just to clarify, is the minister's answer suggesting that last week the State Emergency Management Plan provisions in relation to Auslan interpreters were not activated because it was not a declared state emergency? If so, have the new Auslan provisions been activated since the changes the Hon. Kelly Vincent has facilitated?</text>

MALINAUSKAS (Minister for Police, Minister for Correctional Services, Minister for Emergency Services, Minister for Road Safety) (14:56):</by>  As I described, the Auslan provision that exists within the State Emergency Management Plan is activated when there is a declared emergency. I can inform the house that since 25 June last year, the date I referred to, there has not been a declared emergency.</text>
