          <inserted>The South Australian Government is committed to transitioning the economy to a low-carbon economy and harnessing the benefits from a carbon constrained world. As part of this transition the Government has an ambition to make Adelaide the world’s first carbon neutral city – a showcase city for renewables and clean technology. </inserted>

          <inserted>Carbon Neutral Adelaide builds upon and supersedes past initiatives. Achieving carbon neutrality in the CBD will require the Government, the City, the community and business to work together. Part of the Government’s efforts include two expressions of interest: one for the supply of low-carbon energy and the other for the supply of hybrid and/or electric vehicles. These form a range of measures the Government has outlined in its Climate Change Strategy.</inserted>
