WADE:</by>  The South Australian government has recently given a firm commitment that it will maintain comprehensive Australia-wide ambulance cover for volunteer ambulance officers, in recognition of the contribution they make. My question to the minister is: is the government considering providing similar recognition to other emergency services volunteers comparable to the recognition it provides to volunteer ambulance officers?</text>

As has already been advised by the Minister for Health, this is something that is currently under review. I am happy to take that question on notice. The honourable member would be aware that entitlements to ambulance cover and the like are still in the purview of the Minister for Health. I am happy to take that on notice and pass on the question accordingly.</text>
