          <inserted>I can advise that on 22 March 2016 the <term>Aboriginal Heritage (Miscellaneous) Amendment Bill 2016</term> passed through parliament. The bill came into operation on 24 March 2016. </inserted>

          <inserted>Since 2008, and as part of the review of the <term>Aboriginal Heritage Act</term>, there have been four separate stages of consultation. These took place across 2009, 2013, 2015 and 2016. </inserted>
