But let's be very clear, because the opposition runs this out every single year because they don't understand these very important policy positions around prescribed burning: we only burn when it's safe. Point No. 1, the Hon. Mr Wade: we only burn when it's safe. Whilst we plan for the future—we plan in a five-year rolling program of prescribed burns—we only burn when it's safe, and that means, necessarily, that some of our planned burns won't be conducted in the current season.
