Can the minister assure us that he will not allow the APY Executive to constantly add to the period of probation of a new CEO; there will be a fixed period of probation and that will be it?</text>

MAHER (Minister for Manufacturing and Innovation, Minister for Automotive Transformation, Minister for Aboriginal Affairs and Reconciliation) (15:09):</by>  Yes, that would be my intention—to make sure that things are spelt out very clearly so that a general manager can act in the way a general manager needs to act without fear of being dismissed for whatever it is that general managers get dismissed for, and I will continue to work closely with the APY.</text>
        <text id="2015050742af7499abb44c3190000201">If any members have any suggestions about ways to improve it I am more than happy to talk with them about that. It is a very good point that has been brought up, and I am concerned about the number of general managers there have been over a short period of time in the APY lands.</text>
