Given the minister's answer, can the minister assure the house that, if there is to be any reduction, badly needed in the Clare Valley, it will be equitable to all relevant regions that primary produce, from Mount Gambier to the Western Australia border?</text>

HUNTER (Minister for Sustainability, Environment and Conservation, Minister for Water and the River Murray, Minister for Aboriginal Affairs and Reconciliation) (14:35):</by>  I thank the honourable member for his most important supplementary, which goes to the point, of course, that there would be inequities in the system if the Liberal Party had won government and privatised the assets of SA Water.</text>

        <text id="20140508f7cb0b7e22f74ea890000090">It is only this government that has committed to supplying postage-stamp pricing across the state, where we will not be impacted by the private investors who would come in and raise the cost. Just as they did with electricity, they would do the same to South Australian consumers all over again. That is what they are committed to. You saw the audit commission plan at the federal level. We are all waiting for the South Australian Liberals to sign up to that and sell off the last remaining assets that they did not manage to sell off last time, but their plan was foiled.</text>
