Given that the minister has indicated that Mr Garrand is acting as the chief executive officer, can the minister indicate: as of now, what is Mr Geoff Knight doing? The Hon. G.E. GAGO (Minister for Employment, Higher Education and Skills, Minister for Science and Information Economy, Minister for the Status of Women, Minister for Business Services and Consumers) (16:28): The new department does not come into place until the beginning of July—anyway, it will not be in place until the beginning of the financial year—so Mr Ray Garrand is responsible now for the setting up of that new department. My understanding is that Mr Geoff Knight is still taking responsibility for the DMITRE operations until they transition into the new department, to the best of my knowledge.
