          <by role="member" id="1821">The Hon. G.E. GAGO (Minister for Agriculture, Food and Fisheries, Minister for Forests, Minister for Regional Development, Minister for Tourism, Minister for the Status of Women):</by>  The Treasurer is advised:</text>
        <text id="201209051958c1fb356b4b4d80000270">The cost for the pilot delivery of certificate IV in Personal Injury Management (claims management) was $101,400. It is entirely appropriate for WorkCover, as the regulator of the workers compensation scheme, to pay for all participants in the pilot delivery of the Certificate IV in Personal Injury Management (Claims Management). Participants in the pilot will actively contribute to evaluation of the pilot so that the best possible program of study is available to those working in the workers compensation industry.</text>
        <text id="201209051958c1fb356b4b4d80000271">WorkCover further advise that DeakinPrime has the Certificate IV in Personal Injury Management (Claims Management) on their Scope of Registration and that DeakinPrime is approved to deliver and/or assess the qualification and issue the qualification to students. All participants in the pilot delivered by DeakinPrime, who achieve the required competencies, will be awarded a nationally recognised qualification at the end of their studies.</text>
