BROKENSHIRE (15:19):</by>  Notwithstanding the minister's answer and the importance of ensuring that Carter Holt Harvey survive and grow in the South-East, can the minister assure this house that any decisions made by the government will not have an adverse impact on other millers in the South-East with respect to offers to CHH that could jeopardise the other millers and eat into their viability?</text>

GAGO (Minister for Agriculture, Food and Fisheries, Minister for Forests, Minister for Regional Development, Minister for Tourism, Minister for the Status of Women) (15:20):</by>  This government is committed, as I have already said, to the sustainability of the forestry industry in this state and particularly the South-East, and that means all of the forestry industry, not just the large players. We know that CHH is a very large player in the game at the moment, but we are very committed to the long-term sustainability of the forestry industry right across the state and particularly in our South-East. With all the decisions that we make, we have that foremost in our minds, when we consider any decision pertaining to the forestry industry.</text>
