          <by role="member" id="1821">The Hon. G.E. GAGO (Minister for Agriculture, Food and Fisheries, Minister for Forests, Minister for Regional Development, Minister for Tourism, Minister for the Status of Women):</by>  The Minister for Transport and Infrastructure has been advised:</text>
        <text id="20120717b1e1344b1fbc4b1180000720">1. to 3.&amp;#x9;Works to upgrade power supply across the broader tram network have been a fundamental element of all projects to enable the extension of the network, provide redundancy in supply, as well as the purchase and operation of additional trams.</text>
        <text id="20120717b1e1344b1fbc4b1180000721">Examples of these works have included the installation of an additional feeder cable running through the city business district from South Terrace to the Entertainment Centre, the upgrading of all existing substations within the network, and the provision of an additional substation in April 2011 at Morphett Street. I can advise that new converter stations were also commissioned at South Terrace in November 2011 and Glenelg East in December 2011.</text>
