<by role="member" id="4364">The Hon. K.L. VINCENT (14:49):</by> I have a supplementary question. Is the minister aware that, according to constituents who have contacted my office in the past, there are some people, including vision impaired people, who are eligible for 50 per cent subsidised SATSS vouchers because they are seen as being able to catch public transport in that they are ambulatory? However, the lack of accessibility in public transport for vision impaired people, including a lack of clear oral announcements of stations, etc., makes it nearly impossible for them to catch public transport, so they are not really getting as much SATSS support as they require.</text>

Obviously, I would not be aware of constituents who have contacted the honourable member unless she has passed on that advice to me, which I do not think, to the best of my knowledge, she has done. Nonetheless, minister Chloe Fox, Minister for Transport Services in the other place, is the responsible minister for this service in relation to the supplementary question. If the honourable member would like, I will take that question to her and bring back a response.</text>
