GAGO (Minister for Agriculture, Food and Fisheries, Minister for Forests, Minister for Regional Development, Minister for Tourism, Minister for the Status of Women) (15:14): </by> I am still receiving advice on what future direction should be taken with the act. It would appear at this point in time that the levy element will be redundant, and possibly other sections as well. However, at this point in time I am still receiving advice on that. So for the time being it will be set at zero and at the same time a PIF scheme will be put in place.</text>
        <text id="201202297dcdb68cc931411090000222">I can assure growers that there will be no overlap; they will not be paying two separate levies. I believe we have also agreed to set the levy at the same rate it currently is. I can assure the industry that it will have a high degree of input into the management plan to ensure that the PIF allocations are in line with the industry's needs and are meeting the overall interests of the industry.</text>
