If there is not an adequate federal response in terms of increased funding for aged-care homes, will the state government then look at supporting the aged-care industry in South Australia, or does it accept that fees will have to be increased?</text>

WORTLEY (Minister for Industrial Relations, Minister for State/Local Government Relations) (14:59):</by>  It will not be up to me as to whether the state government subsidises the aged-care industry. I think it is important to understand that, when a review takes place, they look at all the cost aspects of providing aged care and then they make a funding arrangement. It is only hypothetical to say it won't happen, so for me to give any commitment now would be too early.</text>
