WORTLEY (Minister for Industrial Relations, Minister for State/Local Government Relations): I have been provided the following information: There are a number of factors contributing to the reduction in the Outback Communities Authority grant payments in 2010-11 compared to 2009-10: There were a number of one-off grants paid in 2009-10; Payments made through the Regional and Local Community Infrastructure Program—$80,000, Contribution to the Iron Knob Community Park project—$26,000, and Community Drought Assistance payments—$9,000 The manner in which municipal support payments were made to the Dunjiba Community shifted from grants to supplies and services in 2010-11. This resulted in a $65,000 reduction in grants.
