HUNTER (Minister for Communities and Social Inclusion, Minister for Social Housing, Minister for Disabilities, Minister for Youth, Minister for Volunteers):</by>  In December 2011, the Government provided its initial response to the Report, accepting almost half of the recommendations for immediate action.</text>
        <text id="20120214fab7c0219d7b49a780000874">Our embracing of individualised funding approaches recommended in the Report represents a fundamental shift in disability support policy, providing greater choice and opportunity for those with a disability and preparing us for implementation of the National Disability Insurance Scheme.</text>
        <text id="20120214fab7c0219d7b49a780000875">The Government will respond to the remaining recommendations in 2012.</text>
