Mr Brokenshire's comments about a science degree having no pertinence to being able to answer these questions. A transport subsidy is, of course, a very thorny issue; it means subsidising private enterprise to take products up to the lands. It is not the only way that these issues can be resolved. I will ask the honourable minister in the other place to come back with a response in relation to that question.</text>
