        <inserted>1.&amp;#x9;That a select committee of the Legislative Council be appointed to inquire into and report upon elements of the grain industry in South Australia and in particular:</inserted>
      </text>

        <item sublevel="2">
          <inserted>(a)&amp;#x9;The capacity of the market to ensure a vigorous and competitive marketplace for grain growers;</inserted>
        </item>
      </text>
      <text id="20110309b4e734b458234753a0000559">
        <item sublevel="2">
          <inserted>(b)&amp;#x9;Grain classification and standards and whether internationally approved grain testing options, e.g. falling number machines, should be available to growers on request;</inserted>
        </item>
      </text>
      <text id="20110309b4e734b458234753a0000560">
        <item sublevel="2">
          <inserted>(c)&amp;#x9;Service delivery, including human resources, operating hours and storage capacity of grain receival points;</inserted>
        </item>
      </text>
      <text id="20110309b4e734b458234753a0000561">
        <item sublevel="2">
          <inserted>(d)&amp;#x9;Export and shipping arrangements, including port access and associated costs;</inserted>
        </item>
      </text>
      <text id="20110309b4e734b458234753a0000562">
        <item sublevel="2">
          <inserted>(e)&amp;#x9;Grain quality management, including receivals and outturn;</inserted>
        </item>
      </text>
      <text id="20110309b4e734b458234753a0000563">
        <item sublevel="2">
          <inserted>(f)&amp;#x9;Open and transparent information on all grains, including stock disclosures;</inserted>
        </item>
      </text>
      <text id="20110309b4e734b458234753a0000564">
        <item sublevel="2">
          <inserted>(g)&amp;#x9;Adequacy of road and transport infrastructure for the grain industry; and</inserted>
        </item>
      </text>
      <text id="20110309b4e734b458234753a0000565">
        <item sublevel="2">
          <inserted>(h)&amp;#x9;Any other relevant matter.</inserted>
        </item>
      </text>

        <inserted>2.&amp;#x9;That Standing Order No. 389 be so far suspended as to enable the chairperson of the committee to have a deliberative vote only.</inserted>

        <inserted>3.&amp;#x9;That this council permits the select committee to authorise the disclosure or publication as it sees fit, of any evidence or documents presented to the Committee prior to such evidence being presented to the council.</inserted>

        <inserted>4.&amp;#x9;That Standing Order No. 396 be suspended to enable strangers to be admitted when the select committee is examining witnesses unless the committee otherwise resolves, but they shall be excluded when the committee is deliberating.</inserted>
