RIDGWAY Legislative Council The Hon. D.W. RIDGWAY: I just quote from the last paragraph of the treasurer's minute to the Hon. J. Weatherill, the minister responsible: I recommend that action be taken to limit the applications provision and, in the longer term, post-election, the clause be removed from the Public Sector Management Act for both executive and non-executive employees. My question to the minister is: have any instructions been issued to parliamentary counsel since the election to draft amendments to remove that clause from the Public Sector Management Act and, if not, will the minister guarantee the continuation of these provisions?
