I believe I have done this on at least two occasions, namely, when the investigator requested of me an extension to the finalisation of the investigation. At each of those times I asked whether he required any additional resources to assist him in expediting the completion of his report or to assist him with that, and I asked him to let me know. I think on both occasions he has requested additional assistance. I could not tell you about the timing of that, but I do know that he has requested some extra paralegal assistance and, I believe, some administrative assistance as well.
