GAGO (Minister for State/Local Government Relations, Minister for the Status of Women, Minister for Consumer Affairs, Minister for Government Enterprises, Minister Assisting the Minister for Transport, Infrastructure and Energy):</by>  The Minister for Housing has provided the following information:</text>
        <text id="20091015b3ac11c2be6b49e2a0000536">1.&amp;#x9;The State Government has been working closely with the Federal Government on many funding proposals.</text>
        <text id="20091015b3ac11c2be6b49e2a0000537">Through the Department for Families and Communities, the State Government has also had a number of discussions with both the District Council of Coober Pedy and the Umoona Community Council in Coober Pedy and other service agencies in the region about the need for a Transitional Accommodation Centre.</text>
        <text id="20091015b3ac11c2be6b49e2a0000538">The Department is in the process of working with both the District Council and the Umoona Community Council to determine proposals for location and service model of a centre for Coober Pedy.</text>
