GAGO (Minister for State/Local Government Relations, Minister for the Status of Women, Minister for Consumer Affairs, Minister for Government Enterprises, Minister Assisting the Minister for Transport, Infrastructure and Energy): The Minister for Housing has provided the following information: 1.	The State Government has been working closely with the Federal Government on many funding proposals. Through the Department for Families and Communities, the State Government has also had a number of discussions with both the District Council of Coober Pedy and the Umoona Community Council in Coober Pedy and other service agencies in the region about the need for a Transitional Accommodation Centre. The Department is in the process of working with both the District Council and the Umoona Community Council to determine proposals for location and service model of a centre for Coober Pedy.
