The petitioners pray that the council will reject proposals to (a) reduce prohibitions on human cloning, and (b) modify regulation and research involving human embryos, as proposed by minister John Hill in the Statutes Amendment (Prohibition of Human Cloning for Reproduction and Regulation of Research Involving Human Embryos) Bill.
