GAGO (Minister for State/Local Government Relations, Minister for the Status of Women, Minister for Consumer Affairs, Minister for Government Enterprises, Minister Assisting the Minister for Transport, Infrastructure and Energy):</by>  The Minister for Police<term></term>has provided the following information:</text>
        <text id="20080910da449ee5097f4124a0000209">Sale or supply of liquor to minors on or off licensed premises is an offence against section 110 of the<term></term>Liquor Licensing Act 1997<term></term>(the Act). The maximum penalty for a breach of this section by a licensee or responsible person is a $20,000 fine. The maximum penalty for any other person is a $5,000 fine.</text>
        <text id="20080910da449ee5097f4124a0000210">In 2005-06, one person who was involved with licensed premises as an employee of a licensee was charged by police pursuant to section 110 of the act. The person was subsequently convicted of selling liquor to a minor and was fined $262.</text>
        <text id="20080910da449ee5097f4124a0000211">In 2006-07, five people connected with licensed premises as either employees, licensees or directors were charged by police in relation to breaches of section 110 of the act. Two charges involving directors of a licensed company selling or supplying liquor to a minor were withdrawn prior to prosecution. One employee of a licensee was prosecuted and received a conviction and fine of $366. A responsible person was prosecuted and received a conviction and fine of $266 and one licensee company was prosecuted and received a conviction and fine of $400.</text>
