          <by role="member" id="574">The Hon. P. HOLLOWAY (Minister for Police, Minister for Mineral Resources Development, Minister for Urban Development and Planning):</by>  The Minister for Recreation, Sport and Racing has provided the following information:</text>
        <text id="20080508124514dfe7044a0480000592">The Government has a focus on improving the quality of existing venues, and promoting and developing the capacity for increased use of these venues. The Rann Government has made a significant commitment to AAMI Stadium, Adelaide Oval and the AM Ramsay Regatta Course at West Lakes.</text>
        <text id="20080508124514dfe7044a0480000593">The Government also recognises that quality, world-class sporting facilities build on South Australia's strengths and competitive advantages and contribute to the state's economy through attraction of major events.</text>
