          <by role="member" id="1821">The Hon. G.E. GAGO (Minister for Environment and Conservation, Minister for Mental Health and Substance Abuse, Minister Assisting the Minister for Health):</by>  I have been advised that:</text>
        <text id="20080501bbc653c7224e44e4a0000228">1.&amp;#x9;(a)&amp;#x9;As at 1 October 2007, there were 44 people waiting for a bed at the Woolshed.</text>

          <item sublevel="2">(b)&amp;#x9;The Kuitpo Community has advised that as at 1 October 2007, there were 39 people waiting for a bed.</item>
        </text>
        <text id="20080501bbc653c7224e44e4a0000230">2 and 3.&amp;#x9;A total of 159 beds are funded for alcohol and drug treatment in South Australia. Of these, 52 are in the government sector and 107 are provided in the non-government sector.</text>
