PICTON (Kaurna—Minister for Health and Wellbeing): I have been advised: Staffing is managed within approved budgets by each local health network (LHN). Workforce capacity is continually monitored and adjusted to ensure safe, effective care. SA Health remains committed to ongoing recruitment and retention efforts to strengthen the medical workforce and support the delivery of high-quality services across the state. Since March 2022, the Malinauskas Labor government has recruited an additional 646 FTE doctors, above attrition.
