PICTON (Kaurna—Minister for Health and Wellbeing): I have been advised: In March 2025 a precautionary decision by clinicians was made to postpone surgeries to ensure patient safety. In two cases, children had begun anaesthesia. However, no surgical procedure had commenced and there was no harm. Both procedures have now been completed.
