BOYER (Wright—Minister for Education, Training and Skills): I have been advised: The department does track retention rates of preschool staff. Retention rate percentages as at January each year are: January 2025—89 per cent derived retention rate January 2024—84 per cent derived retention rate January 2023—89 per cent derived retention rate. *The derived retention rate is calculated using the proportion of employees active at the current snapshot date who were employed at the equivalent snapshot date 12 months prior.
