          <inserted>Since the introduction of the Community Pharmacy Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) Services Scheme on 1 March 2024, over 3,450 women aged 18 to 65 years have accessed UTI treatment services through community pharmacy. </inserted>
        </text>

          <inserted>Antibiotic treatment may be dispensed to women who meet certain clinical criteria assessed by the pharmacist, as per the clinical protocol developed for the scheme.  People who fall outside the criteria or have other symptoms or risk factor may be referred to a general practitioner or other health professional as appropriate.</inserted>
