          <inserted>State government employees are employed under a state enterprise agreement, the South Australian Public Sector Wages Parity Enterprise Agreement: Weekly Paid 2022, which is negotiated and registered under the state industrial relations system.</inserted>

          <inserted>As such, the Fair Work Commission (FWC) decision does not directly apply to aged-care workers employed by the state government.</inserted>

          <inserted>The South Australian Public Sector Wages Parity Enterprise Agreement: Weekly Paid 2022 is due for renegotiation in September 2024 and has an expiry date of 1 March 2025.</inserted>
