SZAKACS (Cheltenham—Minister for Trade and Investment, Minister for Local Government, Minister for Veterans' Affairs) (14:49):</by>  I thank the member for his question. Particularly in response to this, I wouldn't characterise the vacancy in this context as sudden. I was written to by the presiding member last year. Respecting the unique personal family circumstances of the outgoing presiding member, I would be uncomfortable going into more detail, but I can assure the member for Narungga that the resignation is neither sudden nor without good reason.</text>
