CHAMPION (Taylor—Minister for Housing and Urban Development, Minister for Housing Infrastructure, Minister for Planning) (14:40):</by>  I am always happy to meet with regional councils, and we do it pretty regularly. Obviously, though, it is for SA Water to negotiate with the developer. We encourage SA Water to have good relationships with the development community, to engage with them, to give them a comprehensive understanding of what the infrastructure requirements are and why they are required to be put in.</text>

        <text id="20241016a3b6a2d4fad4418db0000483">It is important for the developers to understand why we are doing things to a certain standard in a certain place in order to maintain water pressure, supply and capacity. It is important for the corporation to do those negotiations. I am happy to meet with councils, but we need those negotiations to conclude before we engage, if you like, at a ministerial level.</text>
