MICHAELS (Enfield—Minister for Small and Family Business, Minister for Consumer and Business Affairs, Minister for Arts): I have been advised of the following: From 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2024, CBS has taken action on 37 building work contractor's licences. This has ranged from imposition of conditions because of concerns about financial viability, through to suspension or cancellation as a result of the conduct of the builder, as well as prosecutions. This number does not include those licences which have been cancelled or suspended administratively as a result of matters such as a failure to pay renewal fees.
