BOYER (Wright—Minister for Education, Training and Skills): I have been advised that for the Office for Early Childhood Development (OECD) : The following table provides the requested information on grant program/funds under my responsibility for the 2024-25, 2025-26 and 2026-27 financial years—controlled: Grant program/fund name Purpose of grant program/fund 2024-25 Estimate $000 2025-26 Estimate $000 2026-27 Estimate $000 Office for Early Childhood Development Preschool Infrastructure Grants Grant program to incentivise non-government providers to create additional preschool places 2,240 9,640 14,300 The Office for Early Childhood Development has been funded to deliver three and four-year-old preschool across government and non-government settings. Delivery of the non-government setting may entail grants to non-government providers. These programs are currently being designed in consultation with the sector. In addition, the Early Childhood Workforce Fund has a range of programs to support workforce attraction, training and retention, aligned to the workforce strategy. Some of these may be delivered through grants following further design and development of specific initiatives.
