SCRIVEN (Minister for Primary Industries and Regional Development, Minister for Forest Industries): I have been advised: The matter of a voluntary code of conduct for the timber industry to facilitate long-term timber supply contracts between producers and processors for mutual benefit was raised at the forestry ministers' meeting held 8 December 2023. I am advised the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry will continue to keep oversight on the topic.
