          <inserted>The key agency output in the Agency Statements referred to by the member for Batty relates to opportunities for businesses and industries identified through Green Industries SA’s (GISA) Business Sustainability Program. </inserted>
        </text>
        <text id="202409106cf4e2d759fa4dfab0003550">
          <inserted>In 2023-24, Business Sustainability Program projects identified over $881,000 in operational cost savings across 14 businesses for efficiency improvements in energy, waste and carbon. If the projects are implemented, the improvements will reduce the businesses’ operating costs. The majority of those savings can be realised through improvements to energy management and efficiency, which also reduces greenhouse gas / carbon emissions, and can also be realised through waste management improvements.</inserted>

          <inserted>These projects also have the potential to reduce 702 tonnes of carbon dioxide-equivalent and divert at least 206 tonnes of waste from landfill.</inserted>
