          <inserted>No new agency savings are included in the 2024-25 budget.</inserted>

          <inserted>The savings targets commencing from 2024-25 are shown in table 2.4 of Budget Paper 3: 2024-25 Budget Statement. They largely reflect existing operating efficiency measures. </inserted>

          <inserted>Chief executives have the flexibility to deliver the savings in a manner that best suits the needs of their agency. Savings do not need to include FTE reductions and a range of options can be pursued including reducing expenditure on consultants, contractors, marketing, communications, accommodation, travel, and other goods and services.</inserted>
