After question time, I sincerely appreciated the discussion with him where he indicated he would immediately seek detail. Despite contacting the minister's office by phone and email since, I am yet to receive an answer for my constituents. Since I asked the question, I have been contacted by constituents who have since received multiple fines for the period immediately following the speed limit change. They are simply seeking clarification about whether they need to pay the fine or whether a grace period will be granted.</text>

It is an important question. As I indicated on the last occasion, I would anticipate that there are members of his community who are seeking this information. The question was taken on notice; it is still on notice. We are seeking some additional information to complement the information we presently have to hand. We also, of course, observe that the estimates process will soon be upon us. As soon as I have a complete answer for the shadow treasurer, I will come back to the house.</text>
