          <inserted>Recent changes to the National Construction Code now require fire engineering briefs and reports be provided for every building referral submitted to the South Australian Metropolitan Fire Service (MFS), where previously only approximately 10 per cent of proposals would require these. This has, over the last three years of adoption, incrementally increased the number of reports submitted through to the MFS for review.</inserted>
