This was a new role, the Chief Governance Officer (CGO), which began from mid December 2022. (Noting a new Chief Finance Officer (CFO) was recruited in December 2022, with the incumbent CFO becoming the new CGO at that time). The increase can also be attributed to various transitional salary costs, leave entitlements cashed out, pay increases, and required superannuation contribution increases.
