CHAMPION (Taylor—Minister for Trade and Investment, Minister for Housing and Urban Development, Minister for Planning): I have been advised: The following councils have sought guidance (or otherwise expressed interest) in reviewing their Character Area Statements and Historic Area Statements: City of Adelaide City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters City of Onkaparinga City of Prospect. I am also advised that several councils are currently contemplating or actively pursuing code amendments to list new local heritage places and/or create or review new historic areas or character areas. Six proposals to initiate have been lodged for approval to commence the code amendment process (mainly focusing on new local heritage listings).
