N.D. CHAMPION (Taylor—Minister for Trade and Investment, Minister for Housing and Urban Development, Minister for Planning): I am pleased to advise you: As of 30 June 2023, Invest SA has delivered strong investment outcomes for the state against its key performance indicators. The agency has facilitated $1.0004 billion in new investment, comprised of $710.4 million in foreign direct investment and $290 million national investment, creating over 4,300 jobs. This $1.0004 billion of total investment was generated in the following key sectors: 46 per cent from minerals and energy 20.8 per cent from hi-tech sector 19.6 per cent from defence sector 10 per cent from food, wine and agribusiness; and 3.6 per cent from creative industries.
