(Estimates Committee A) The Hon. Z.L. BETTISON House of Assembly Ramsay Minister for Tourism Minister for Multicultural Affairs Multicultural Priorities Fund The Hon. Z.L. BETTISON (Ramsay—Minister for Tourism, Minister for Multicultural Affairs): I have been advised that Multicultural Affairs does not release information related to the sum of money in the Multicultural Priorities Fund. The reason is that access to and supply of this information could influence funding requests from multicultural organisations in a way that has a negative impact on the administration of the grants program. The 2022-23 actual expenditure for the Multicultural Priorities Fund was $350,581. The 2023-24 Multicultural Priorities Fund budget will be sourced through the total multicultural grants budget of $6.482 million.
